La Maison de Rose is a charming, renovated, detached Breton stone cottage with 3 double bedrooms, sitting/dining room, 2 bathrooms and separate kitchen. All set in a secluded location within its own grounds in the picturesque hamlet of La Ville Nayl, near the Nantes to Brest Canal.
The cottage has two double bedrooms downstairs.
Upstairs is a mezzanine with a large master bedroom with double bed, seating area, en-suite shower room with bidet, wash hand basin and wc.
The sitting room is comfortably furnished with armchairs, settee, a double bed settee and is heated by electric radiators and a woodburning stove. There is also a TV (French and English), videos and books.
There is a large dining table and ample crockery, tableware and cutlery should you wish to eat at home or have a BBQ.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas cooker, microwave, double sink, kettle, coffee maker and all necessary cooking pots and utensils.
The main bathroom is situated on the ground floor with wc. bath shower and wash hand basin. The automatic washing machine is also in the main bathroom.
In the garden there is a large patio and BBQ area with tabling and seating plus the well laid lawns.
Local Area DetailsThe pretty village of Quily is one km away with its historic church, typical Breton houses and a bar/tabac/shop. A cycle route close by, allows superb cycling or walking for long distances throughout the heart of the French countryside.
The cottage is well situated for numerous tourist sites and attractions and other facilities. The nearby town of Ploermel has a swimming pool, a good shopping centre, restaurants and bars, interesting churches and an astronomical clock. The beautiful Lac au Duc, near the town can be reached easily car or by cycling from the cottage. With its sandy beach, safe swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing and other water sports, it is an enjoyable centre for all the family. There is an excellent 9-hole golf course near the lake.
The medieval town of Josselin is also very near. It boasts a 16th century chateau with water activities and boating on the canal, which runs through the town. For those who like walking, the canal towpath from the cottage to this historic place makes a very enjoyable route. There are many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets and it is very pleasant to eat out in in one of the squares in the evening.
There are many beautiful beaches to visit. The coast of southern Brittany and the Gulf of Morbihan is a 40-mnute car ride away. St Malo and the north coast of Brittany is about an hour and a half away. The ancient walled town of Dinan, with its inland canal port is well worth a visit and is about an hour away.
Close to Lac du Duc safe swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing and other water sports.

| A booking is not confirmed until the deposit of 50% ( or payment in full ) has been received along with a completed reservation form. Final payment 12 weeks before arrival.A refundable security deposit(dependent on owner's request) is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents (unless otherwise stipulated). This is payable with the balance.The rental period shall commence at 4pm on the first day and finish at 10am on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. The maximum number to reside in the Property must not exceed the number stated unless the Owner has given prior permission. If this rule is broken, the Owner retains the right to either ask for financial compensation for the extra capacity, or indeed to cancel the remainder of the holiday without recompense to the Client. This is due to strict insurance clauses here in France. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period, as you should find it on your arrival. The Owner reserves the right to make retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to any residents in any neighbouring properties. The Client shall report to the Owner without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the Property, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible. bedlinnen is all included.
