Large restaurated farmhouse, built in 1875 and situated in a small hamlet with six other farmhouses. The house is beautiful situated on a wooded south facing hill, so that you can enjoy the sun all day long. Because of the high position, you have beautiful panoramic views from the terraces.

In front of the terraces there is a large and flat terrain with lawn (1000 m2) where children can play safely. Large, enclosed, L-shaped swimming pool (75m2) with three different levels, a slide and a diving board and a separate paddling-pool (2x2m). There is also a sauna.

The garden and the terraces have total privacy. Because of the house’s location on a slope, the terraces are on different levels, connected by stairs. They are enclosed, so children can not get to the swimming pool unattended

There are three cots, a playpen and a high chair available.

All beds are provided with blankets and pillows. Linen for rent.

The house is suitable for 15 persons and three babies. Kitchen with dishwasher, gas cooker and fridge and access to a covered terrace with barbecue. Living room with exposed beams, a large, romantic fire place, comfortable seats and a dining area. Behind this living room there is a lounge comfortable seats and two single beds. Toilet with washbasin. Utility room with washing machine and dryer.

Downstairs there is a beautiful double bedroom with washbasin and a double bedroom with a lits-jumeaux, sauna, shower and washbasin. These rooms gives you access to another large, fenced terrace. All these rooms have tiled floors.

A staircase in the living room leads to a large landing with a double and a single bed. Here is also a double bedroom with an ensuite shower room with toilet and washbasin. This level has wooden floors.

There is a recreation room with a ping-pong set where children can play with bad weather. Upstairs there is a nice and spacious double bedroom with a parquet floor and an ensuite shower room with toilet and washbasin.

Local Area Details

The beautiful old town of Sarlat lies 15 km west and the lovely town of Souillac lies 12 km east of the house. Here you will find large supermarkets. The city of Brive is 35 km north. The village of St Julien de Lampon is 5 km. Here you will find a bakery, butcher and a small supermarket.

There are a lot of places of interest in the Dordogne and the Lot; lovely towns, beautiful establishment, superb castles, caves and beautiful nature and wildlife. The river Dordogne is 1,8 km away, where it is possible to make splendid canoe excursions.
