Property Details
Delightful restored farmhouse overlooking countryside. These two properties were formerly the farmhouse, accommodation in both comprises:
Ground floor open plan kitchen and living area, (the Pump Cottage has a large traditional stone fireplace with wood burner), glazed door leading onto the south facing patio with furniture.
Stairs to the first floor with one bunkroom (In Well Cottage, there is space for an additional single bed if required), and one single bedroom.
Bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and WC. There is also a separate WC with wash hand basin on this floor.
Stairs to the second floor - large double bedroom, velux windows to north and south with space for cot if required; with ensuite shower room with wash hand basin and WC and one single bed/cot.
Cot and highchair available free of charge.
Outside is a 7.3 x 3.7 metre above ground heated pool shared with the other cottages. There is a large shared garden with furniture, BBQ, shaded separate area for toddlers, boule pitch, badminton net and table tennis equipment. Also a shared Laundry room.
A wonderful choice of beaches within easy reach, & also Quimper and Pont-Aven.
Local Area DetailsResclen, situated in Southern Brittany, 20 miles north of Lorient, is ideally placed within easy reach of many historical sites and museums, forest trails for walking or cycling, lakes for swimming, boating and fishing, a number of fine golf courses and the many fine sandy beaches within easy driving distance. In July and August, Brittany erupts with fêtes and festivals, and from Resclen you can visit many of these wonderful events.
The local town of Le Faouët, 6 km away with a very fine medieval covered market, has a variety of restaurants and bars with regular live music events, shops, chemist and tourist office, and there is also an indoor heated swimming pool.

| A booking is not confirmed until the deposit of 50% ( or payment in full ) has been received along with a completed reservation form. Final payment 12 weeks before arrival.A refundable security deposit(dependent on owner's request) is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents (unless otherwise stipulated). This is payable with the balance.The rental period shall commence at 4pm on the first day and finish at 10am on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. The maximum number to reside in the Property must not exceed the number stated unless the Owner has given prior permission. If this rule is broken, the Owner retains the right to either ask for financial compensation for the extra capacity, or indeed to cancel the remainder of the holiday without recompense to the Client. This is due to strict insurance clauses here in France. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period, as you should find it on your arrival. The Owner reserves the right to make retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to any residents in any neighbouring properties. The Client shall report to the Owner without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the Property, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible. bedlinnen is all included.
