The Studio Cottage provides accommodation for two people plus baby if required, comprising: Mezzanine loft sleeping area. Downstairs is a spacious open plan living area, with modern kitchen, an additional double day bed and dining area.
Bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and WC.
A glazed door leads to a secluded little patio on the edge of the orchard. The studio also benefits from modern electric heating, which makes a cosy little all year round property. Cot and highchair available free of charge.
There is something for everyone at Resclen, plenty of space for children to play and quiet areas to simply unwind.
Local Area DetailsDating from the sixteenth century, Resclen was originally a working Breton farm, and now has five beautifully converted cottages/gites, retaining oak beams and many other original features, which can sleep from 2 to 10 people.
Outside is a 7.3 x 3.7 metre above ground heated pool shared with the other cottages.
Facilities at Resclen include a laundry room, with separate shower and WC. Pétanque pitch, volleyball, badminton, football and a huge grass area where ball games are positively encouraged. There is also a separate shaded toddlers' area.
There is a communal barbecue in the courtyard and individual barbecues on each cottage patio.
Resclen is special in that it can provide accommodation for individual family groups, couples, families or friends holidaying together.
Resclen can provide accommodation for large groups, clubs, associations etc with beds for up to 34 people.
Well situated for enjoying the best of south west Brittany, near the dramatic Devil's Rock beauty spot above the river Ellé.
Resclen, situated in Southern Brittany, 20 miles north of Lorient, is ideally placed within easy reach of many historical sites and museums, forest trails for walking or cycling, lakes for swimming, boating and fishing, a number of fine golf courses and the many fine sandy beaches within easy driving distance. In July and August, Brittany erupts with fêtes and festivals, and from Resclen you can visit many of these wonderful events.
The local town of Le Faouët, 6 km away with a very fine medieval covered market, has a variety of restaurants and bars with regular live music events, shops, chemist and tourist office, and there is also an indoor heated swimming pool.

| A booking is not confirmed until the deposit of 50% ( or payment in full ) has been received along with a completed reservation form. Final payment 12 weeks before arrival.A refundable security deposit(dependent on owner's request) is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents (unless otherwise stipulated). This is payable with the balance.The rental period shall commence at 4pm on the first day and finish at 10am on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. The maximum number to reside in the Property must not exceed the number stated unless the Owner has given prior permission. If this rule is broken, the Owner retains the right to either ask for financial compensation for the extra capacity, or indeed to cancel the remainder of the holiday without recompense to the Client. This is due to strict insurance clauses here in France. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period, as you should find it on your arrival. The Owner reserves the right to make retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to any residents in any neighbouring properties. The Client shall report to the Owner without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the Property, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible. bedlinnen is all included.
