Property Details

La Cachette is the small house that sits above our other property Le Chai, which is a conveted wine chai where wine was made and stored. It is a small but quaint property with may original features.

Access to the property is up the external stairs. Enter into kitchen / dining area. Off this room is a small sitting area with french doors leading on to the terrace at the front. Also on this floor is a small single bedroom. Up the stairs leads onto a landing with access to the bathroom and the main double bedroom. Ther is also a washing machine in a cupboard.

Local Area Details

Bize Minervois is a small picturesque village in the northern area of the Minervois wine region, about 20 minutes north of Narbonne.

It is situated about 40 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches and coastal resorts to the south and with the Black Mountains and the Languedoc Regional Park to the north.

Local features are the famous Canal du Midi, varied coastal resorts and the local Cathar castles and sites

The viiage is well equipped with all necessary amenities, with four restaurants, a cafe bar,2 local mini markets, a bakers, butchers and chemist.
