Property Details
The kitchen is modern and very well equipped with washing machine, full sized gas cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and microwave. The dining area has a large table and chairs, although only six chairs are shown in the picture. The lounge is very large and light with comfortable settee and armchairs and French windows leading on to the back patio and garden. The front aspect overlooks rolling fields.
The downstairs bedroom has a 3/4 bed and a single, so ideal for one couple or three children. There is also a shower room next to it with toilet, shower and basin.
Upstairs there are three further bedrooms; a family room with a double bed and bunk beds; and two twin rooms. There is also a further shower room with toilet and basin.
There is a large garden with an enclosed 5 x 5 metre above ground pool. On the patio there are loungers, garden furniture and a BBQ.
The English owners live next door and will offer you a warm welcome and any help and advice you may need. If you are a golfer, this area offers you a wide variety of courses, please ask the owner for an information leaflet - he is a golf enthusiast himself!
Local Area DetailsOnly 15 minutes north of Josselin this cottage is set in a small friendly rural hamlet with plenty of places to walk or cycle. It is a wonderful place to stay to explore the marvellous historic town of Josselin with its fairytale pepper-pot towers and flowered bridges over the river. The nearest town is Mohon which is about 5 minutes drive. Within 20 minutes you are at the very large Lac du Duc with its man-made beach and various water-sports centres. Two minute's drive and you reach the nearest town, La Trinity Porhoet, which has a supermarket, tabac etc, and a small lake with a beach and children's play area.

| A booking is not confirmed until the deposit of 50% ( or payment in full ) has been received along with a completed reservation form. Final payment 12 weeks before arrival.A refundable security deposit(dependent on owner's request) is required in case of, for example, damage to the property or its contents (unless otherwise stipulated). This is payable with the balance.The rental period shall commence at 4pm on the first day and finish at 10am on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. The maximum number to reside in the Property must not exceed the number stated unless the Owner has given prior permission. If this rule is broken, the Owner retains the right to either ask for financial compensation for the extra capacity, or indeed to cancel the remainder of the holiday without recompense to the Client. This is due to strict insurance clauses here in France. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period, as you should find it on your arrival. The Owner reserves the right to make retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning costs if the Client leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to any residents in any neighbouring properties. The Client shall report to the Owner without delay any defects in the Property or breakdown in equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the Property, and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible. |
