Chalet Balkiss is a traditional Savoyarde chalet made of wood and stone. It accomodates up to 14 people in twin and double en suite rooms. There is a spacious open plan living/dining room with exposed beams and a large sunny terrace with stunning views overlooking the Bozel valley. The chalet has a very well equiped kitchen with ovens and dishwashers. A BBQ is provided, and the chalet also has it's own sauna. It is located on the edge of the forest and has its own covered parking area. It is ideally located for either a relaxing alpine break or an activity holiday.
Local Area DetailsThe chalet is located in the pretty alpine village of La Tania, at 1350m altitude, between Courchevel and Meribel, in the French Alps. The village has its own outdoor swimming pool within walking distance. During the summer the ski area turns into a walking and mountain biking paradise, with stunning views of the Massif de Mont Blanc. Other nearby activities include, white water rafting, canyoning, via ferrata, climbing, parapente, horse riding and many more. Day trips include Mont Blanc and the stunning Lake Annecy.

About Weather/Climate/TemperatureThe weather in the alps can be extreme, the winters cold and snowy and the summers can be very hot during the day due to the altitude!
