We have luxury apartments available which can accommodate 4-10 people within the "Chalets de Montalbert Residence" in the pretty alpine village of Montalbert, La Plagne. These apartments are furnished to a high standard and are very well equiped. Some have tv/video and hi-fi facilities. The building is equipped with a lift, and all apartments have balconies with fantastic views of the mountains.
Local Area DetailsThese apartments are in an ideal location to enable you to explore the beautiful alps and take part in some fantastic activities during the months of July and August. Nearby activities include white water rafting, canyoning, via ferrata, climbing, adventure assault course, parapente horse-riding and many more. Other day trips include the stunning Lake Annecy, and breath taking Mont Blanc where you can stand at the top of Europe!
Additional InformationAbout Weather/Climate/TemperatureThe weather in the Alps can be extreme, the winters are cold and snowy and the summers can be very hot during the day due to the altitude!
About BarsThere are several bars and restaurants in the village which are typically french with plenty of character. They serve local specialities along with more traditional meals.
About NightlifeThe nightlife in Montalbert is very low key. Based around bars and restaurants. There are more bars and discos in the towns of Moutiers and Bourg st Maurice which are about a 30 minutes drive away.
About TransportWe recommend you have your own transport for this type of holiday. There are lots of interesting and stunning places to visit including Mont Blanc and Lake Annecy.
About BeachesThere are beaches dotted around Lake Annecy. And there is also a swimming lake in the valley with a grassed bathing area.
