Local Area DetailsSunny sandy Savary Island....plenty of access to beautiful white sandy beaches a 15 minute water taxi ride away. Kayak in Desolation Sound. Take guided hikes and informative tours on land or boat. Quietly view wildlife in the forest or ocean. This is an undeveloped area with wilderness spaces only for your enjoyment. Hike the Sunshine Coast Trail from our Dome to Sarah Point without meeting another human being. All of this and a world class restaurant, The Laughing Oyster, in Okeover Inlet. Many fine restaurants in Powell River a 30 minute drive away, and in the village of Lund, only 5 minutes from The Dome.
