Luxury renovation of 19th century watermill in secluded rural woodland location. Slate floors, open fireplace, marble counter top, state-of-the-art oven, open plan, French windows lead out onto three patios [West, East, and South]. Enjoy a five nozzle shower downstairs or relax listening to the birds and the river from a Victorian roll top bath upstairs. Enjoy the sounds of the waterfall by the front door; the 'lade' that rushes through [or rather under] the house which used to turn the wheel; and the river the lade flows into at the bottom of the garden. Wildlife abounds but it’s the two tame guinea fowl, Maude and Madge, who will ensure you won't need an alarm clock. Our caretaker will be there to meet you when your arrive, welcome you and show you around. She will also be on hand to answer any queries during the week. A starter pack of logs and kindling is provided and the tariff includes all heating and laundry.

Get fresh salmon or venison from the Food and Game shop open every day except Mondays. Or catch your own fish at the Drummond Trout Farm. Pick your owns strawberries nearby.
