While Rancho Jacona's solidly constructed adobe casita, Piglet -- Santa Fe adobe rental vacation house, is near Santa Fe and Los Alamos, it is entirely separate from city life. Our adobe enclave is an oasis of towering cottonwoods, acequias feeding our informal ponds, gardens, statues, mobiles, and barnyard areas of sheep, goats, rabbits, donkeys, geese, and chickens.

Rancho Jacona's adobe vacation house near Santa Fe is part of an old Spanish land grant farm 20 minutes north of Santa Fe, NM in Northern New Mexico; a comfortable vacation house "home base" providing country tranquility while the cultural offerings of the Santa Fe area still near at hand.

Lying beneath towering cottonwoods in the Pojoaque River Valley, Rancho Jacona looks up at the Jemez Mountains on one side and the Sangre de Cristos on the other. Santa Fe Opera is 15 minutes south, while 7 historic pueblos are also nearby to our rental cottage.

This Santa Fe rental vacation house is a pueblo-style adobe home, cheerfully decorated and comfortably furnished, with patio. This Santa Fe vacation house, of 1600 sq. ft., built in the 1950's, has one bedroom with queen bed and crib, one bedroom with king bed, one bedroom with single bed plus trundle, (trundles are 39" by 76"), one queen sofa bed, sleeps 8. Rancho Jacona is family friendly, pet friendly. Rentals start at 3 days, longer stays save us money on expenses which we pass right on to our guests. Monthly winter stays are welcomed at even greater savings passed on: 52% of the Off Season Weekly rate. The sun has an acute angle in January; the shadows fill in the angle.
