Property Details
Olivia’s Cottage is located in a little seaside village called Cap Bimet in New Brunswick, Canada. The village is predominantly cottages with a few year round residents. There are no hotels or commercial rentals in the village as the cottages are privately owned. The shore that the village is nestled beside is rocky on one end and turns into a lovely sandy beach on the other. Both ends are easily walked to from my cottage in a few minutes and each offer endless possibilities for exploring and beach combing. There is a very famous seafood restaurant right next to the rocky part of the shore that is just down the street from my place. There is also a lobster shop right across the street from the restaurant and they will cook your lobster right there for you. Just a few miles away there is a delightful country store where you can get groceries for a very good price and they have an excellent meat counter. Parlee Beach & Shediac are a 10 minute drive away. Although Parlee Beach is very famous and beautiful there are also many other sandy beaches in our area to enjoy that are equally as nice and I urge everyone to explore them all.The cottage has been recently redone totally inside and out and has a good sized deck for sunning & barbequing that is “L� shaped and has a roof over one side for barbequing on a rainy day or getting out of the sun. We are fully equipped with barbeque, lawn & deck furniture even beach towels. The lawn is very well kept and has nice shrubs and flowers and a nicely graveled drive. The cottage is non-smoking but smokers can enjoy their smoking on the covered verandah. My reservations run from Saturday to Saturday with a 10AM check out and I require a 50% deposit to make a reservation.
Local Area DetailsThere is a very famous seafood restaurant right next to the rocky part of the shore that is just down the street from my place. I shop there when I am at the cottage rather than going into Shediac or Moncton as the traffic can be hectic during the summer months in the larger centres. Parlee Beach & Shediac are a 10 minute drive away. Although Parlee Beach is very famous and beautiful there are also many other sandy beaches in our area to enjoy that are equally as nice and I urge everyone to explore them all.
