Property Details
The Hotel Yildirim is a small family run hotel with approximately 30 rooms. The beach is a three minutes walk away and another couple of minutes to the bars & nightlife. The resort is renowed for its long sandy beaches which are very clean and safe for children. Transfer from Bodrum Airport is just over the hour. All rooms have en suite with shower, loo & wash basin, full sized fridge, air con / central heating, Colour T.V., Tea & Coffee making facilities and balcony. Most rooms are twin or double bed but there are a few triple rooms. there is a full size swimming pool, with outside bar which sells snacks and a variety of drinks throughout the day with comfortable seating, gardens with play area for children, pool table, large TV screen showing videso / sports programmes etc., and is also the main focus area in the evenings when a varied entertainment programme buzzes into action. There is also provision for special catering for birthdays, anniversarys and other special events given a 2/3 days notice. Plus an indoor bar for inclement weather. Reception is 24 hours with safety deposit boxes and currency exchange and has a comfortable air conditioned seating area should you wish to escape the sun and play backgammon or just read a book from the hotel "library". There is a lift to all floors. Linen is changed and rooms cleaned daily. All prices include breakfast (buffet style) and airport transfers.
Local Area DetailsAltinkum is fast becoming quite a "busy" resort once a small fishing village it now boasts three beaches, the main one being 3 minutes from the hotel with "second" beach a further 5 minutes walk and "third" beach a 5 minutes cab or 15 minute walk. There are ample restaurants and bars along with a couple of discos/clubs which are situated at the ends of the resort so do not interfere with that well earned sleep!! Whilst an up and coming resort Altinkum has not yet fallen foul of the "tourist trap" and is ideal for getting a taste of the "real" Turkey.
