Bluefolds highland holiday cottages are situated on a hillside in open farmland, with breathtaking panoramic views across Glenlivet to the Cairngorm National Park mountains.
Folds cottage has patio doors to enjoy the stunning mountain views. It is double glazed with a modern kitchen, centrally heated and comfortably furnished with CD/tape/radio player, digital satellite TV with video and DVD players. Folds has a coal fired stove in the kitchen. Linen, towels and t-towels are included. Cot, high chair and baby bath are available free. Barbecue and patio furniture included.
The cottage is about 1 mile from the B9009 Dufftown to Tomintoul Road. To help locate them, they are east of Aviemore, south of Elgin and west of Aberdeen.
Local Area DetailsGlenlivet is a fantastic area for viewing birds, wildlife and wild flowers on way marked walks on the Glenlivet estate in the Cairngorm National Park. The Glenlivet distillery is seen from the cottages (free tours and dram). Ballindalloch Castle is close by and open from April to October. The falconry Centre at Huntly is a must for children of all ages as is the Cairngorm Reindeer centre. We are spoilt for castles to visit in the area with Huntly, Balvenie, Balmoral, Crathes, Cawdor, Drum, Leith Hall and Fyfvie all within easy reach
