Villa “La Giara� is located in Fraginesi, a quite countryside 5 km from Scopello and its renowed Tonnara and turquoise waters, 5 km from Castellammare del Golfo, a little town where you may find all the basic services as bank, grocery, supermarket, pharmacy, and E.R; and around 4 km from the Motorway.
A superb location for anyone who wants to discover the central-west area of Sicily like the Natural Reserve “Parko dello Zingaro�, the beautiful beach of San Vito lo Capo, Segesta and its Greek temple and theatre, the medioeval city of Erice, “Le Saline� at Marsala, the Island of Mozia, known for its archeological treasures dated back to the Phoenician’s times, Selinunte, Agrigento and many other interesting places. The Airport of Palermo is approximately 40 km away.
“La Giara� has been recently built using the features of a modern design and noble materials used long time ago by the Sicilian people: Ceramics of Caltagirone from the XIX century, tiles, and “cotto� floors enhance the charme of this holiday house.
The villa is surrounded by a garden where through a panoramic veranda could be accessed the living-room and the kitchen.
The villa is a 2-storey structure. On the ground floor there is a living-room with fireplace, satelite TV, stereo with CD, and wide windows with panoramic views where the sight reacies the distant sea, dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen supplied with oven, dishwasher, balance, minipymer, toaster and electric blender.
On the first floor is the bedroom area. There are 2 double bedrooms (one of them with en-suite bath with tub and great seaviews) 1 twin bedroom and a second bathroom with shower.
The house has central heating which will be charged separately according consumption.
The furniture and the decoration is cosy and charming showing not only the good taste but the loving care of Mrs Renata, the owner who will be there to welcome you and to offer you her assistance for any information or help you may need.

Local Area Details

During you stay you will be able to visit some of the most interesting and famous sightseeing in the region such as the Ancient Doric Temple in Segesta and the Ancient Greek Theatre, as well as the Tonnara (ancient tuna producing station) and the Rocks I Faraglioni in Scopello, take a look over the picturecque landscape from the heights of Medieval city of Erice, visit and enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean nature you can find in the Nature Park Lo Zingaro, also taste the flavours of the Sicilian cuisine in any of the local restaurants.
The tours to Palermo, Trapani, Agrigento, Taormina are also possible in one day.
