La Charouffie Cottage is set within the 2 acre grounds of the main Farmhouse with several interesting outbuildings, stables and barn conversion, originally a large farm, the farm hand lived on site in the cottage, but now is also available to rent for holidays.
The Cottage has easy access as it is all on one level, the living area and fully equiped kitchen are open plan, but the focal point is the lovely fireplace with the woodburing stove. The Cottage caters for 4 to 6 people as there is a double and a single bed in each of the en-suite bedrooms. The Cottage also benefits from an air-conditioning unit for the summer and the woodburner for the winter keeping the Cottage cosy. There are beautiful views out side the Cottage and a shaded area to relax in, out of the midday heat, or if you fancy, have a dip in the pool to cool off.

Local Area Details Riberac is an excellent central location as a base for your holiday to explore the Dordogne and surrounding areas. Riberac hosts the largest market in the Dordogne on Friday mornings and with all the shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets every culinary taste is catered for. There are many sites of interest for all ages, for the more energetic locally there is kyaking, horse riding, tennis and cycling available. Twenty minutes away you can enjoy a round of golf at the course near Perigueux or laze on the sandy beach at the lakes at La Jemaye. If you prefer to go and see the historic sights there is a wealth of beautiful unspoilt villages with their own individual charm, Brantome, Aubeterre and Bordailles just to name a few.
