Local Area Details

Riberac town centre, about a ten minute walk away, is an excellent central location as a base for your holiday to explore the Dordogne and surrounding areas. Riberac hosts the largest market in the Dordogne on Friday mornings and with all the shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets every culinary taste is catered for. There are many sites of interest for all ages, for the more energetic locally there is kyaking, horse riding, tennis and cycling available. Twenty five minutes away you can enjoy a round of golf at the course near Perigueux or laze on the sandy beach at the lakes at La Jemaye. If you prefer to go and see the historic sights there is a wealth of beautiful unspoilt villages with their own individual charm, Brantome, Aubeterre and Bordailles just to name a few.
