Casalinda is a spacious, south-facing villa on a hillside overlooking the Aro valley. There are 4 bedrooms, two doubles and two twins (plus a baby cot). It has a well-equipped, fully-fitted kitchen, a spacious living/dining room, various terraces with lovely views, an outside barbecue area, garden and large garage. The villa also has a good selection of books, videos and games as well as sunbeds, lilos, etc. The beaches are nearby (4 kms), as are the towns of Playa d'Aro, St. Feliu de Guixols and Palamos.
Local Area DetailsSta Cristina d'Aro is roughly 4 kms inland from both Playa d'Aro and St Feliu, with the port of Palamos nearby. Within a short drive there are lively towns, beautiful beaches and lovely countryside. There is a regular train from Caldes de Malavella to Barcelona. Girona airport is 25 minutes away, and in the vicinity there are several golf courses, tennis courts, sports centres, cycling and walking tracks, go-karting, water parks and horse riding. The shopping is varied - everything from designer shops to colourful, local markets and there is a wide choice of good restaurants. Apart from the lovely coastline there are several tourist attractions nearby (Girona, Barcelona, Dali museum, historic towns, roman ruins), but a car is essential.
