The master bedroom is also on the ground floor, a huge room with feature beams, exposed stone detail, and extra single bed. The bathroom is adjacent. Upstairs there is a twin bedroom again a generous size, with views over the fields to the lake. Please note the gardens are unfenced and the stairs are open so may not be considered suitable for toddlers/small children.

Local Area Details

The Lake offers a lot of amusements; beach, swimming, boat hire, water skiing, pedaloes, creperie and bar, golf course and restaurent. Around the lake and on towards the Nantes/Brest canal there are cycle routes and marked walking routes, the roads are very quiet in the area and the hills gently undulate - bikes can be hired in the neighbouring town of Ploermel. The town also boasts excellent shopping and dining facilities a busy market and historic buildings to visit.Within a short drive is the chateau town of Josselin and the smaller towns with tourist attractions (crafts, museums, interesting architecture etc.) of Lizio, La Gacilly, Rochefort, and many more. A day trip to the coast will take 40 minutes- to the mediaeval walled port of Vannes and adjacent beaches and island hopping ferry boats - something for everyone.
