Although the property is not right on the beach, it is around the block less than 100 meters away. (30 second walk)It has 3 bedrooms with double beds, 1 private bath and an open concept living space with fully equipped kitchen and huge screened in porch. The kitchen windows open onto the porch. It's easy to keep track of kids. It's the perfect quiet retreat. The season on this cottage is late May thru early September. The cottage has a t.v., vcr, c.d. player, bbq, badminton net, beach chairs,board games, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, condiments, salt, pepper, but no linens are provided. It is the perfect quiet getaway for 2 or great for family fun.

Local Area Details

The cottage is tucked back from the street and is around the corner from the beach which is the world's largest sandbox. The water is shallow for quite a way out in the water because of the numerous sandbars. It is a 5 minute walk thru the woods to tennis courts and a 3 minute walk to the corner where the supermarket has all the food supplies you need. A 20 minute drive to Collingwood's treetop platforms and caves. The treetop platforms and rope bridges enable you to get a closer look at the flora and fauna. There's also a multi-plex cinema in Collingwood. Waundering thru the caves in Blue Mountain is exciting for kids and adults. Visit the waterslides in Wasaga Beach, only 15 minute drive away where you can also rent jetskis and boats. An hour's drive away is Midland where you can visit an authentic Indian village with long houses. A five minute drive will take you to go-karts where adults and children can have fun racing. There are many towns nearby for people who like to antique hunt and one particular charming town is Creemore with art galleries and charming restaurants.
