The Costa Almeria nestled as it is on the Mediterranean coast has many coastal resorts and traditional fishing villages still thriving backed by mountain range's overlooking the warm Mediterranean sea . This southerly location, the proximity to the African continent and the high surrounding ranges all contribute to keeping any cloudy fronts away, while the warm Mediterranean assures the area of an exceptional subtropical climate.
