Local Area DetailsThis excellent apartment is situated approx. 6km south of Torrevieja center, originally a fishing town, but now, one of the fastest growing cosmopolitan towns in the Costa Blanca. Walking through its
streets, nearly all languages can be heard. Torrevieja is surrounded by the salt lakes of Laguna De la Mata and the Salinas de Torrevieja which play host to some fascinating wildlife, such as the Flamboyant flamingos, which have made the lakes their home.
Torrevieja is fortunate to have many award winning European blue flag beaches along its Coastline, the nearest just being 1.5km from the apartment. Whether it’s beach life, nature,shopping, Culture, or nightlife, Torrevieja has a bit of everything to satisfy most tastes.
Restaurants, bars, and a local supermarket are within a 20 minute (approx.) walk from the accommodation. The apartment is conveniently situated approx. 35 minutes drive from Alicante (Altet) Airport. Alicante itself is approx. a 50/55 minute drive and in the opposite direction, Murcia and Cartagena are approx. a 40 minutes drive.
