Finca Charca La Mina is a most luxurious villa on the Costa del Sol between Marbella and Gibraltar. It is set beside a river in the valley of Manilva near vineyards and the famous Roman Baths yet is only five minutes drive to the beach and villages of Sabinillas, Manilva and 15 minutes to the town of Estepona. All of the rooms are centred round a tranquil Roman style courtyard. The four bedrooms are individually designed rooms that are luxurious, bordering on exotic some with four poster beds and jacuzzis and all with en-suite baths. There is a large and well-equipped Siemens kitchen leading through to the formal dining room and upstairs from this a small gallery lounge is reached. There is also another lounge off bedroom three. All rooms have air-conditioning and heating. In the beautiful and classic courtyard is a sauna while in a shady corner there is a jacuzzi formed like a natural rock pool. Upstairs there is a roof terrace with a small swimming pool (solar heated) with a jetstream.

Dining Room and Lounges.
The Dining Room. Leading off from the kitchen is the formal dining room with a large dining table and seating for 8. Up a stairway from the dining room is one of two lounges at the finca. The Gallery Lounge. The gallery lounge has comfortable seating for five with TV. and DVD.
The Bedroom Three Lounge. This is a comfortable lounge with seating for five, satellite TV & VCR. It leads directly into the sleeping area through open archways.

Kitchen.
The modern and spacious Siemens kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to create gourmet meals at home. There is a large upright fridge/freezer, electric oven, grill and ceramic infrared hobs, microwave, dishwasher and double sink. Also in the kitchen is a breakfast bar which seats four.

Bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 looks out onto the courtyard and the fountain. It is one large room with a high beamed ceiling, huge four poster bed, exotic sunken bath with jacuzzi, double sinks, walk in double shower and separate toilet and bidet. The room has a vast mirrored wardrobe, a Corby trouser press, deep pile carpeting, satellite TV & VCR small fridge and hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 also looks out onto the courtyard and the fountain. It has a four poster bed, satellite TV. small fridge and hairdryer. The en-suite bathroom has a sunken bath, washbasin and separate toilet and bidet.
Bedroom 3 is through two open arches from the second of the two lounges on the property. It has a four poster bed with a mirrored ceiling satellite T.V. VCR small fridge and hairdryer and an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 4 is a cosy and romantic room on the first floor. It has a ceiling beamed with Oregon pine, satellite TV, small fridge and hairdryer and views across the vineyards to Manilva. The en-suite bathroom has a double jacuzzi bath and separate toilet.

Courtyard.
In the beautiful and tranquil courtyard there is a central water feature with a pond and gold fish. In a shady corner there is a jacuzzi formed like a natural rock pool right next to the sauna which contains its own shower. There are tables and chairs, an antique French bed used as seating and four sun loungers.

Library.
Upstairs from the courtyard there is a library with a varied selection of books and games and a miniature billiards table. There is also a section for information of the area and its attractions.

Roof Terrace.
On the roof terrace there is a small swimming pool (solar heated) that has a jetstream which one can swim against, four sun loungers, sunshade and a comfortable bamboo lounge suite. A full size table tennis table is there for the more energetic.

Local Area Details

The finca is in an ideal situation from which to visit the historic cities of Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Cadiz, Malaga and the Rock of Gibraltar. The two major airports are Malaga (one hour by car) and Gibraltar (30 minutes by car). The name aptly deserved of The Costa del Golf has been earned by more than 30 courses on a fifty mile stretch. The house itself is on a country road 3 kilometres inland from the beach and the village of Sabinillas where there are shops, bars, restaurants, banks and a cyber cafe. One kilometre up the valley are The Roman Baths which are 2,000 years old and you can still bathe in them. The village of Manilva is on the hill some 3 kilometres away and also has shops and a bank and is famous for its vineyards of Moscatel grapes. The pretty marina of Puerto de la Duquesa is four kilometres distant which also has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants.
