For everyone who likes to stay in the countryside and at the same time near Amsterdam, this is the place to be. When you come home from your trips you can relax in this quiet, breathtaking environment with all
the luxury you wish for. The house is beautiful located in the countryside at the IJsselmeer dike very near Edam, an old "cheese’ town. Amsterdam is 15 miles away and easy to reach by bus from Edam. There is a little beach, over the dike where you can sunbath or swim in the lake in the summer. You can take a basket over the dike and have a pick nick or barbeque there. This is a very beautiful place for a honeymoon, a wedding anniversary, for writing, for reading a good book (books available too in different languages.), but if you like to be more active: there are lots of opportunities to explore the countryside by foot, bicycle or by car. It is a great place for bird watching and if you like horses you can watch the neighbor training his horses at sunset. We offer a lot of ameneties, such as a laundry room, sauna, outdoor spa and fast internet at no extra costs.
The large luxury apartment is suitable for 2 to 4 people and has a very good kitchen, a large diningtable and comfortable area to sit. The large bedroom has a view over the lake. The small apartment is suitable for two. Both apartment have beautiful views from all sides.
Local Area DetailsThe environment of the apartment is beautiful and unspoiled, a quiet and safe area. Edam is a very charming little town, and there are lots of other old fishermens villages to explore. For mUsea, theatre and galleries you can go to Amsterdam.
