Property Details
Set in almost 14 acres of mature woodland Press Castle is a 17th century manor house of great character that has been divided into apartments.
Apartment 1 is on the first floor enjoying views over the spectacular grounds and sleeps 6 to 8 people. The grounds has its own wildlife population including badgers and red squirrels.
ACCOMODATION-
The Lounge:
This is a very spacious room with plenty of seating and an open fire. It includes a colour television and a video player. From the windows you have a stunning view over the grounds.
There are 3 Bedrooms: Bedroom one is the master bedroom with a double bed. Bedrooms two and three both have 3 single beds.
There are 2 Bathrooms each with their own over-bath shower a toilet and basin.
The Dining Kitchen:
The dining kitchen is compact but well equipped. It has a fridge, freezer, combined washer/dryer, electric cooker, microwave and electric toaster. It has a dining table with seating for up to 8.

Local Area DetailsPress Castle is a great place to use as a base; it is an ideal spot for people who like to explore the surrounding countryside, with a variety of tourist attractions, castles, gardens, towns and cities. The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is not far away and Edinburgh is just up the A1.
St Abbs, famous for its diving and nature reserve is only 5 miles away and has a lovely little open-air café.
The walled Town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is about 12 miles away and well worth a visit.
Children of all ages will love the petting farm at Conundrum – just before you get to Berwick (the food is good there too).
Eyemouth is an old-fashioned seaside town with a sandy beach, swimming pool, its own fishing museum and an excellent18-hole golf course.
Coldingham is renowned for its golden sandy bay and has a lifeguard on duty during the summer months (one of only two in Scotland).
