The Quintassential occupies an acre of hilltop overlooking Loule town with spectacular panoramic seaviews and only 15 minutes from Faro International Airport. This is an ideal holiday location for those looking for peace and tranquility and a little piece of the Real Algarve, but yet close enough to modern day living. The Quintassential is ideally located for those who like to bird-watch, walk and hike. The beautiful blue flag beaches are only a 15 minute drive and so too are the world famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura.

All the cottages are equipped, furnished and decorated to a very high standard and cater from 2 - 13 people and can be let out individually or together. There is a large 2 bedroom cottage and a further 3 one bedroom cottages all individual and oozing with character.

The Orange Cottage is the largest of the cottages at Quintassential, a large two bedroom rustic cottage decorated in typical Algarvian décor of white washed walls and with a fully fitted kitchen including oven & stove, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle & toaster.

The Lounge/diner is tastefully decorated with cane and pine furniture, Satellite TV, video & radio/CD player, a selection of books, puzzles, chess set, playing cards, ceiling fan & the Orange Cottage boasts an original 19th century fireplace that now houses the wood-burning stove. Double doors lead on to the very large private terrace with it's own table, cushioned seating, Bar-B-Q area and cushioned reclining chairs.

The bathroom has a new luxury double walk-in shower, washbasin, WC, bidet and sloping wooden ceiling. The Orange Cottage bedrooms consist of one double bed & one twin bed both with sloping wooden ceilings.

The Orange Cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults & an infant.

The Casa Do Forno Cottage (Bread Oven House) is the smallest of the cottages at Quintassential, a one bedroom rustic duplex cottage tastefully decorated and boasting many original features from the old Quinta including a "crows nest" lounge. It may be the smallest of the cottages at the Quintassential, but it makes up for it in character. The bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and sloping cane ceilings with wooden beams and white washed walls. The bathroom has a shower with a tiled seating area, w.c. and washbasin with a vanity unit under. The “crows nest “ lounge area has spectacular views and has a radio/CD player, puzzles, chess set, domino set and playing cards. It is furnished with comfortable cane seats, terracotta flooring and also has the original cane ceiling with wooden beams. The walls are also white washed.

The kitchen/dining area has the original bread oven dating back to the 19th century, stone sink and original floor tiles from the Quinta. The kitchen comprises of fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and gas hob. The kitchen/dining area also has the cane ceiling with wooden beams and has the typical Algarvian décor of white washed walls. From the dining area there are doors leading on to a completely private terrace with Bar-B-Q, table with cushioned seating and cushioned reclining chairs. There is also a wood burning stove for the cooler winter evenings.

The Casa Do Forno Cottage has its own garden with a further rustic seating area and is surrounded by an abundance of beautiful flowers and shrubs. Here in the secluded garden you will experience some of the most breathtaking sunsets that the Algarve has to offer. This cottage also has its own private driveway access and carport.

The Casa Do Forno Cottage (Bread Oven House) sleeps a maximum of 2 adults only.

The Lemon Cottage is one of the newer cottages at Quintassential, a light and airy one bedroom cottage with a large bedroom that has a double bed, large ceiling fan, security safe & patio doors leading on to the sun terrace. The bedroom is large enough to also accommodate a single bed too. The Lemon has a brand new large luxury bathroom with shower, washbasin and vanity unit under, WC, bidet and shaver point.

The spacious lounge/diner is decorated tastefully with pine furniture and a wood burning stove for those cooler winter evenings. The lounge has Satellite TV, video, radio/CD player, puzzles, chess set, playing cards, Domino set and patio doors leading onto a private terrace with tables, cushioned seating, brick built Bar-B-Q, cushioned reclining chairs and it’s own lemon tree to give you added shade.

The kitchenette comprises of fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and electric hob.

The Lemon Cottage sleeps 3

The Carob Cottage is one of the newer cottages at Quintassential, a light and airy one bedroom cottage, the sunniest at the Quintassential with a large bedroom that has a double bed, large ceiling fan & patio doors leading on to the sun terrace. The Bedroom is large enough to also accommodate a single bed too.

The Carob has a new large luxury bathroom with shower, washbasin, WC, bidet and shaver point.

The spacious lounge/diner is decorated tastefully with pine furniture and a wood burning stove for those cooler winter evenings. The lounge has Satellite TV, video, radio/CD player, puzzles, chess set, playing cards, domino set, a selection of reading books and patio doors leading onto a private terrace with tables, cushioned seating, Bar-B-Q, cushioned reclining chairs and the lounge also has a sofabed.

The kitchenette comprises of fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and electric hob.

The Carob Cottage sleeps 3

Outside The Quintassential is blessed with panoramic seaviews and spectacular countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The gardens at Quintassential are marvellous with many bushes, plants and fruit trees, along with quiet areas to relax and absorb the views.

The Quintassential has a large pool area, the pool measures 10 x 5 m and cushioned sun loungers, and parasols etc are provided for the use of the guests.

Extras
On arrival the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival will be a very generous welcome hamper in your accommodation compliments of the house. For all the adult guests, bathrobes are provided for use during their stay, pool towels are provided to use only at the Quintassential and the cottages have hairdryers and alarm clocks.

All the cottages have radio/CD players – guests are asked to bring their own CD’s.

We have a small video library should any of our guests wish to rent out a video.

On selected evenings of the week, there is also an evening meal option. Traditional home cooked Portuguese cuisine is served on the owner’s private terrace, which has spectacular views over Loule. What a better way to end your day with a nice meal and a glass of delicious Portuguese wine.

Local Area Details

The Quintassential is a 2 minute drive north of main market town of Loule in the Central Algarve where you will find everything you need for your holiday, shops,banks, restaurants, sight-seeing etc. The blue flag beaches of the Algarve are within easy reach of the Quintassential and so too are the world-famous golf courses. For those who are into bird watching the beautiful Rio Formoso is a short drive and surrounding the Quintassential you will amazed by the rare species that surround the quinta. This is also an ideal location for those who wish to walk, explore the countryside and explore the Algarve.
