The cottage is accessed via a long boardwalk traversing the hill through the expanse of trees behind the property creating it’s own aviary - home to numerous species of birds nesting - or resting from the flyway above. The Percherie has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It boasts the following amenities: natural gas fireplace, natural gas furnace, natural gas barbeque, cable TV, books, board games and blankets. The cottage overlooks Main Beach and has a Southern exposure via 2 decks and a sunroom spanning the entire front of the cottage.
The Percherie offers our guests a chance to relax and unwind whilst listening to the sounds of the waves from the “Crow's-nest� or the chirping of birds from the boardwalk, and enjoying the phenomenal views of Port Stanley, Point Pelee and beyond. Local Area DetailsPort Stanley is a quaint fishing village located on the North Shore of Lake Erie, approximately a 2 hour drive from Toronto. It boasts one of the best beaches in Southern Ontario and The King George VI Lift Bridge, one of the only lift bridges operating in Ontario. The village also has many restaurants and shops perfect for a leisurely stroll. Daytripping destinations include antique arcades, local wineries, art galleries and golf courses. Don't forget to check out the Summer Festival Theatre from late June to September, or the Port Stanley Terminal Rail, perfect for family outings.
