Local Area DetailsHonfleur is a very popular town and is famous for its old medieval charm and character plus its numerous restaurants that surround the old harbour. It is famous for its connection with the post immpressionist painters such as Monet and has many art galeries and antique shops. It has a thriving local market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. There is also a long sandy beach.
As well as all the appeal of the town there are many places to visit nearby including the Normandy beaches, Rouen and Bayeux.
