Do you enjoy a peaceful getaway, on a tranquil lake in Muskoka? Lynch Retreat provides you with all the comforts. It is nestled on a cul-du-sac, among the hemlocks and pines. It is firmly positioned on granite rock, which extends down to the water front. The dock is accessed by a tiered stairway. This bright open concept cottage / home allows you to relax as you enjoy nature at its best! The 205 feet of lake front is unique to the property. Deep water in an attraction to swimmers. This waterfront is not suitable for toddlers as there is no beach area. The calm beautiful spring fed lake is perfect for canoeing, paddle boating, kayaking and sail boarding.

We are located 15 minutes from historic Huntsville, off Highway 60. We are close to some of the best golf courses in Ontario. Deerhurst Highlands, Marc O'Mera at the Grandview Resort, and the Bigwin Island Golf Course, are several of the most popular.

There are a variety of excellent restaurants in the area, from the Bistro to Fine dining. The Norseman, on Walker Lake has an excellent menu and ranks as a Five Star Restaurant. Arrowhon, Killarney and Bartlett Lodge are famous for their restaurants/bring your own wine, and are located in Algonquin Park.

If you like hiking, cycling trails, canoeing, fishing and kayaking, the Provincial parks, Arrowhead and Algonquin are within a short drive from the Lynch Retreat. Sandy beaches are minutes away at Tally Ho and Dwight Beach. If you choose to boat on a large lake, Penninsula Lake leads into Fairy Lake, Mary Lake and Vernon Lake and the public access is 5 minutes away, at Tally Ho Resort (corner of Highway 60 and Limberlost). Walker Lake has a 12km per hour speed limit. Therefore it is suitable for small water craft only. No personal watercraft (SeaDoo) are permitted.

Lynch Retreat is located 15km east of Huntsville, on Walker Lake, which is off Limberlost Road. Walker Lake is a small spring fed, clear and very clean lake. The shoreline is dotted mainly with granite cliffs, white pines, and white birch.

Please - no pets, no smoking. Bring bottled water (available at the fire station at the corner of Limberlost and Highway 60). Suitable for families.

Waterfront: 205 feet of water frontage. Water is 15 feet deep off the dock. Not suitable for young children.
