Take a real vacation in this private, very quiet piece of heaven. Hemlock Heights is a beautiful upscale home surrounded by an acre of towering hemlock and birch trees. The home is light and bright with walls of windows, beamed raised ceilings and lots of open space. The living room has comfy armchairs and couch in front of a large stone gas fireplace. Walking out from the dining room, there is a light and bright Muskoka room for relaxing.

There are three bedrooms on separate levels, two with queen-sized beds, and the third with a trundle that pulls out into two attached singles. The bathrooms are a four-piece and a three-piece (shower.)

Although the property has a north-western exposure, the house is light and bright. There is a very large sunny deck off the Muskoka room that looks out over the bay.

There are easy steps down to a rocky shoreline, with a large dock for swimming. At the end of the dock the water is about 28 feet deep. There are steps into the water. It is great for swimming, but children staying here need to know how to swim, as there is no beach. Maximum speed for boats is 12 knots, and speed boats are not allowed on the lake. Pontoons and small fishing boats are okay.

The 200 foot frontage on an acre with neighbours at a distance means complete privacy and very little noise. Because the property is near the end of the road, there is very little traffic.

Hemlock Heights is excellently located, with fine dining such as The Norsemen, Three Guys and a Stove within a few kilometres. Algonquin Park is a short scenic drive away; and there are lots of activities, eateries, theatres and shops in nearby Huntsville (10 minutes away.)

In winter, this place is a delight, with nearby Arrowhead Park and Algonquin for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Hidden Valley, about 10 minutes away, not to mention all the winter activities in the Huntsville / Muskoka area.
