Pueblo Panorama is a group of penthouse-style apartments located at the very highest point of Cumbre del Sol - a well established and exclusive residential area consisting of private villas & houses with wonderful panoramic views. Built into the hillside in clusters of 6 on three staggered levels, our apartment is on the middle level, and has the most breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the sea and surrounding countryside as far as the eye can see. Peace reigns supreme here. Almost nothing disturbs the tranquillity apart from the sound of birds riding high on the thermals above you, and maybe an occasional car slowly winding its way around a mountain road far below. South-facing, the large, unoverlooked private terrace (7m x 3m) has the benefit of the sun all
day long. Perfect for watching the sunrise over the sea at an early breakfast, and then all-day sunbathing until the sun drops below the mountain behind you in the late afternoon. Once darkness falls, the spectacular views take on a magical quality. Floodlit swimming pools way below you appear as liquid blue gems in the foreground, and lighthouses twinkle in the distance against a backdrop of the navy blue sea which shimmers like glass in the moonlight. A wonderful and romantic
setting in which to enjoy pre-dinner drinks or dine al-fresco under the stars.

The Apartment is immaculately maintained, comfortably & tastefully furnished throughout in Mediterranean style cane furniture, and colour co-ordinated. It has AMPLE COLD AIR FANS throughout, and UNDERFLOOR HEATING for winter lets.
SPACIOUS LIVING/DINING ROOM contains Satellite TV, and a CD/radio/tape player. The living area has a 3-seater sofa, armchair, and a coffee table, with large patio doors opening onto the terrace. DINING AREA seats 4, with an open archway to the kitchen. KITCHEN is fully fitted & equipped to a high standard with integrated appliances -oven/grill/extractor, gas/electric hob, & fridge/freezer. There is also a microwave, kettle & toaster. Everything you need for complete self-catering. TWO TWIN BEDROOMS - complete with pine-fronted fitted wardrobes (with plenty of hangers) and dressing table/drawers. N.B. The master bedroom has sea views. BATHROOM is fully tiled and has full-size bath/shower, WC, bidet, & hand basin complete with luxury fittings.
UTILITY AREA (in bathroom) - Washing machine. Iron/ironing board are also provided. SUN TERRACE - Furnished with large table, 4 chairs, drinks table, large parasol, 2 sun loungers, 2 sun-beds and BBQ. BEACH EQUIPMENT - 4 folding sunbeds, 2 beach umbrellas & cool boxes. TWO ADJACENT "INFINITY" SWIMMING POOLS - both with glorious views over the sea, and for exclusive use by residents & guests of the Pueblo Panorama community. PARKING BAY - On the access road above, adjacent to the steps down to the apartment. SERVICES - The apartment is fully serviced before each arrival, and towels/bed linen are provided.

The Apartment is suitable for couples, small families and groups of friends looking for a peaceful and stunning setting, yet near to all amenities.






Local Area Details

LOCAL BEACH
Within 5-10 minutes driving distance is the most superb, picturesque cove (Playa del Morach). It is used almost exclusively by the residents of Cumbre del Sol, and has the benefit of a car park and a beach bar.

FACILITIES ON CUMBRE DEL SOL (5 mins drive)
A la Carte Restaurant with its own full-size swimming pool: Pool & restaurant have superb views. Cafe menu during the day. First class (but inexpensive) a la carte menu in the evening.

Bank, pharmacy, large supermarket, international telephone service.

Horse Riding Centre (with own bar), cliff/countryside walks, secluded beach.

ATTRACTIONS/TOWNS/VILLAGES CLOSE BY:

MORAIRA(10 mins drive): Formerly a small fishing village (some of the old buildings & the church still remain) which has developed into a charming little town retaining a village atmosphere. Small, colourful streets, pavement cafes, a pretty marina, large sandy beach, lively shopping area/market, and restaurants and bars too numerous to mention (traditional Spanish & seafood through to pastas & pizzas). From the beautiful beach at El Portet (1.5kms from Moraira), you can watch the sun set behind the Penon de Ifach - a large column of rock which rises from the sea.

BENITACHELL(10 mins drive): A typically Spanish village with a traditional centre.

JAVEA (20 mins drive): Our nearest large town, Javea has preserved all its charm, and is a fascinating mix of old and new. Large sandy beaches, and an unspoilt "old town" - home to many local residents - the backdrop for colourful festivals. With regard to restaurants - you will be spoilt for choice.

BENIDORM(approx. 45 mins drive south on the motorway): Very commercial, lots of shops, superb beaches (amongst the best in Europe), and unrivalled nightlife. TERRA MITICA THEME PARK is situated here, and also AQUALANDIA WATER PARK - both great fun for children and adults alike.

VALENCIA (approx. 1 hour's drive north on the motorway): Spain's third largest city and definitely worth a visit. Superb architecture & cathedral, museums, sophisticated shops (at affordable prices), and an old indoor food market (an architectural masterpiece in itself) selling high quality local produce at a fraction of UK prices.

Inland, the JALON VALLEY with its spectacular scenery and unspoilt Spanish villages is less than 30 minutes drive. There are also many secluded beaches, walks, and scenic viewpoints to enjoy close by.

GASTRONOMY IN GENERAL: Apart from the huge choice of restaurants in local towns and villages, there are many rural restaurants to try - some situated very close to Cumbre in fincas (farmhouses). These offer set menus consisting of home-cooked food at ridiculously low prices, and are where the Spanish prefer to eat. Wines of the region are excellent and inexpensive.

GOLF

Two 9 hole courses, and one 18 hole course are close by - all in scenic locations. Handicap certificates are required. Reasonable green fees. Full details supplied in Apartment Guide. Low season golf is a particularly attractive time for many golfers. Temperatures are comfortable - 15-20 degrees C, courses are uncrowded and therefore at their best, and apartment rentals are low!
