Local Area DetailsLake Tahoe is a World Class Vacation destination. The lake is 11 miles by 22 miles and has incredible clarity. During the summer there is swimming, horseback riding, boating, biking, fishing, hiking and wildlife viewing. The scenery is spectacular and the air fresh and clear.
The winter months offer skiing at over 6 premier ski resorts. There is also gambling, big star entertainment at the local casinos. There is always something exciting to do - or just rest looking at the mountains.
