Ataireachd Ard sits right at the sea at the beginning of the beautiful coastal walk to Golspie and Dunrobin Castle. It is a traditional but restored 3 bedroomed fisherman's cottage with central heating and coal fires in each of the 2 reception rooms. All rooms have sensational sea views.
The cottage has a modern kitchen again facing the sea. Amenities include dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, freezer, microwave, cable TV and video. There is an enclosed back garden and open front garden from which you can relax, watch the setting sun, the seals at the river mouth or the many birds on the beach nearby. Local Area DetailsThe cottage is round the corner from the pretty little harbour and within a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and other amenities. The famous Brora links golf course is only 5 minutes away on foot and there are wonderful walks starting at the cottage door. Nearby is Dunrobin Castle and many historical sites. Dornoch Cathedral and golf course (there are 9 within easy reach) is a short drive away. The Flow Country, the north coast and Orkney are easily accessible to the north and the more rugged isolated hills to the west.
Additional InformationAbout Transportthe main A9 runs through Brora. On a main bus route and has a train station. Many people come to Inverness airport and hire a car.
