Wild life abounds; hawks and eagles can be seen flying overhead whilst the little blue wren and his mate forage for food down below. As night falls the tiny Bennett’s wallaby makes an appearance just outside your window.

Franklin is a small historic village in the beautiful Huon Valley, an easy 30 minutes south of Hobart.
Kay Creek Cottage makes the ideal base from which to discover the delights of the Huon - be it a visual experience: bush walking, fishing, boating, photography, bird watching, a taste sensation: sample our local products, or thrills: a jet boat ride or rafting……..the valley has it all.
