The Cottages.

Graig farm consists of 11 cottages. There are 5 different types of cottages as detailed below.
It is also possible using interconnecting doors to let 3 cottages sleeping up to 12 people. Ideal for larger Family Parties and reunions.

The Rafters

Fancy a nice romantic break for two people, then Rafters could be your perfect choice.

Rafters is a cottage for 2 persons. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge and microwave oven. The lounge in this cottage is upstairs making full use of the wonderful views from your Cottage. There is a T.V. and Video in the lounge. The bedroom has a double half Tester Bed and the bathroom has an over bath shower.

Holly Cottage

Holly Cottage is a 2 Bedroom Cottage with a single room and a double room sleeping 3 people. The double room can also take a cot.

Making full use of the spectacular views from your Cottage the upstairs lounge if fitted with a T.V. and Video and films can be hired from us or from the local stores in the Village.

The fully fitted kitchen has all the usual appliances including Microwave oven and Fridge.

Hayloft Cottage

Hayloft cottage has 2 bedrooms both doubles. We have a choice as far as Hayloft is concerned, you can either have beds upstairs or beds down stairs. With Bedrooms down stairs the lounge takes advantage of the beautiful scenery from your lounge window. The spacious open plan lounge and kitchen is fully equipped and has all the usual appliances.

The down stairs Bedrooms are both double rooms and a Bathroom with Shower over bath.

Alternatively we also have a cottage with 2 doubles upstairs with a large open plan lounge and dining area down stairs. There is also a.down stairs toilet and the lounge has a log effect electric Fire.

Dairy Cottage

Dairy Cottage has 2 bedrooms, one twin bedroom and one double. It has a very spacious lounge with an Electric log effect fire and an open plan dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is equipped with all the usual appliances including microwave oven and Fridge. There is a Down stairs toilet in this cottage and a Utility Area. From the rear door of the property you are treated to the most wonderful view from your shared lawn and Patio area.

The bathroom upstairs has an over bath shower and there is an airing cupboard.

Harvest Cottage

Harvest has 2 Double bedrooms upstairs both en-suite, Down stairs there is a large open plan kitchen and dining area, The kitchen has all the usual appliances including Microwave oven and Fridge. The lounge has seating for 4 people and includes a T.V. and Video Recorder. Open the back door to the patio and there is a lovely suntrap for you to enjoy and we provide a table and chairs for that alfresco experience.

Graig Farm House.

Built in 1676 of Timber construction the house has recently been completely re-furbished retaining much of its original features and character, and can accommodate up to 10 people.

Step back in time as you enter the Graig Farm House. The large hall way with its oak stairs and beams entices you in . The large lounge with its Inglenook fireplace greets you warmly. Equipped with a T.V. and Video relax as you hear the fire crackling as you laze in the comfortable arm chairs listening to some music on the stereo system.

With The Grandfather Clock ticking in the corner, build up the fire in the Dining room and open the red wine to breath Lunch is going to take a long time. With seating for 10 people it makes it ideal for a Party.

The Kitchen is equipped with all the usual appliances including Dishwasher and uniquely an Aga.

There are 4 bedrooms upstairs 2 King sized Doubles, the master bedroom is ensuite with shower over bath, 1 Twin and 1 Bunk Bedroom. It is possible to put extra beds in any of the rooms because of their size. The main family Bathroom has a large corner bath and there is a large airing Cupboard.

Log Fire’s, Grandfather clocks, inglenook fireplaces, exposed beams, oak floorboards and Olde Worlde charm make this property unique and is indeed a dream come true.

Local Area Details

Mid Wales has a lot going for it, Using the M54 and the A458 you can be in the Heart of Wales within the Hour from Birmingham, or 1 ½ hours from Manchester.

The splendour of Powis Castle Gardens and the Steam Railway at Llanfair are a Great Day out.

The Canal at Welshpool take’s you back to a Bygone era and the busy Market town of Welshpool is a Great place to do that all important shopping.

Port-Meirion and the Mountains of Snowdon are within easy reach and Pony Treking, and more recently Quad Treking are easily booked. Sailing at Lake Vyrnwy and Bala Lake might suit the Young at heart and for the Older Generation you could not find a better place to take things Easy. There are many Golf Courses within easy reach and with the Setting up of a Course fishing Lake the fisherman is well catered for in the Area.
