The villa accommodates six comfortably in three air-conditioned bedrooms, one master suite with a small sitting room, ensuite bathroom with bath and shower plus two further bedrooms with their own private bathrooms. The master double and twin bedrooms on the first floor have doors opening onto private balconies furnished with table and chairs and enjoying fantastic views across the bay and harbour. The double bedroom on the ground floor has access to a furnished patio area. Travel cot is available. Each bedroom and the open plan living area are independently air conditioned. The kitchen is fully equipped with Bosch appliances ~ cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and large fridge/freezer. The villa also has TV, Stereo and DVD player. All internal flooring is cool marble and the villa is furnished to the standard you would expect of a luxury home.

Outside, the villa boasts a large swimming pool with roman steps surrounded by ample terracing with sunloungers and parasols and offers plenty of room for both sunbathing and for relaxing in the shade. A built-in barbeque is adjacent to the pool for al fresco dining and there are soft chairs and discreet lighting to sit and enjoy the sunset. The villa also has a pretty garden area with dining table and chairs ~ wonderful for breakfast.

Undoubtedly, one of Villa Jamera's best features is the huge roof terrace offering stunning views over the bay towards the harbour ~ perfect for catching the afternoon breeze whilst you take a siesta under the shade of the pergola or for watching the gulets return to the harbour at sunset.

The villa is ideally situated on a quiet hillside just a ten minute stroll into the village, so a car is not essential.

We can arrange for an airconditioned taxi or minibus to collect your party from the airport and take you to the villa. The cost is approximately £50 each way per car or £60 for a group in the minibus and the journey takes a maximum of two hours. The transfer company will also arrange car hire if required and will deliver to the villa. Transfer costs can be paid by cash or credit card.

Local Area Details

Once a simple fishing village, today's Kalkan is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty. The village shops stay open till around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques, crafts, jewellery, clothing and accessories.

Kalkan possesses a multitude of excellent roof-top restaurants offering all manner of culinary delights together with stylish and atmospheric Blues and Jazz bars. The narrow streets twist down to the harbour, which is the focus of the village and here you can enjoy a meal whilst watching the world go by.

Kalkan is well positioned for those who enjoy something other than relaxing poolside. The village has a small beach and numerous bathing platforms, but a short bus or taxi ride reaches Patara, with 18km of golden sand and not a single building in sight ~ a worthy rival to Olu Deniz. To discover more secluded bays, boat trips leave daily from the harbour and cost around £10, lunch included. A visit to the trout farms in the hills is a must, or those who enjoy shopping can browse around the local markets and shops of nearby towns of Kas or Fethiye. The more adventurous can visit the ghost town or walk the gorges or take a more gentle stroll around the ruins ~ Kalkan fulfils every holiday wish.
