Property Details

Our apartment is on the first floor of a Moorish style building with its’ own huge sun terrace/solarium with furniture and has views across the village towards the sea.

There is a large open plan lounge/diner with French doors leading onto a balcony - ideal for eating ‘al fresco’.

The entrance to the building is through a main door with one flight of stairs leading to the apartment.

The apartment has a nice entrance hall which takes you to the two bedrooms, one of which has a queen size bed with large fitted wardrobes. The second bedroom has two single beds which can be put together. There is also a large fitted wardrobe.

The bathroom is fully tiled and consists of a full size bath with shower, basin with large lighted mirror, toilet and bidet.

The kitchen is fully equipped:-

Full dinner set, crockery and cutlery
Microwave
Toaster
Full size fridge/freezer
Hob/oven
Iron/ironing board
Coffee maker
Kettle etc.
Safe

The lounge is spacious with two comfortable sofas, a TV, DVD and stereo/
CD unit. There is an oscillating fan for your comfort.

Local Area Details

Fuerteventura lies just off the African coast with miles of white sandy beaches washed by the Atlantic. The old capital of Betancuria along with various villages are just a few of the delights which you will discover.

The bustling resort of Corralejo has at the southern end ’Las Dunas’
National Park with unspoilt beaches that stretch for miles and only 20 minutes away is El Cotillo. Our apartment is situated on the edge of the village of El Cotillo that lies on the NW side of Fuerteventura which is renowned for its’ beautiful unspoilt beaches - the closest being a few minutes walk.

A little further takes you to a spectacular beach with amazing waves where you can take a picnic and swim all day, 'away from it all'

Naturism is widely accepted on most beaches in this area.

A car is recommended but not essential as there is a very good bus service to most parts of the island.

El Cotillo has some lovely restaurants and traditional local bars for you to seek out. The fish is still caught locally and brought into the old harbour.

Restaurant recommendations are difficult as ownership changes from time to time but a few names to remember are:-

La Rustica
Azzurro
La Capitania

The village has a couple of small local supermarkets with a few village shops including a bakery.

Corralejo, which is approximately 20 minutes drive, has various bars, restaurants and shops for all tastes including nightlife.
