This spacious, well appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom groundfloor holiday apartment with communal pool is situated on the Las Ramblas golf course on the southern Costa Blanca.

The apartment is situated on the beautiful Las Ramblas golf course, a short walk from the clubhouse. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), large sitting room with dining area, and fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar. The kitchen includes an oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Crockery and cutlery are provided, as are a kettle, an iron and ironing board, washing line, toaster, juicer, and espresso coffee machine.The sitting room/diner has seating for four people. A high-chair and cot can be provided upon request.
The apartment has satellite TV (UK terrestrial and Sky channels), DVD, VCR, micro hi-fi with CD player.

There is also a selection of books, DVDs, videos, and board games for those rare occasions when the sun isn’t shining!

The property is also fully air-conditioned and heated, ensuring a comfortable environment all year-round.

The apartment has a sun terrace, which leads down to a private garden with reclining sun loungers and other garden furniture. For your security, the apartment is alarmed.

The master bedroom has twin beds, and a marble en-suite shower room with lavatory, vanity basin and bidet. The second bedroom also has twin beds. The family bathroom has a bath, shower, lavatory, vanity basin and bidet.
Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and chests of drawers with ample storage space. They are both equipped with ceiling fans. There is also a fold-away camp bed which can be used to accommodate a fifth guest.

Residents are entitled to use any communal swimming pool on the Las Ramblas complex. Each pool has a segregated paddling area which is ideal for children. There is a communal pool within very short walking distance of the apartment.

Golf Information

The apartment is situated in a quiet location just a short walk from the first tee of Las Ramblas golf course. Designed by Jose Gancedo, this stunning course may be short but it certainly makes up for length in its challenge, demanding accuracy and thought at each hole. Las Ramblas features high tees, narrow fairways and ravines to test the skill of the golfer, who needs a good repertoire of shots to play to his handicap.
The local area around Las Ramblas is a golfers’ paradise. Should you ever tire of playing Las Ramblas, there are several golf courses in the vicinity that might be worth considering. Just a short drive away is Campoamor and the championship course of Villamartin, which hosted the 1994 Mediterranean Open. 20 minutes further inland is the Algorfa course. Just over half-an-hour’s drive away is La Manga. All of these courses consist of at least 18 holes

Las Ramblas golf course is situated near Dehesa de Campoamor on the southern extremity of the Costa Blanca. The closest town is Torrevieja (a 15-minute drive), which has a Carrefour hypermarket in addition to a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars, and a large beach, the Playa de los Locos. The nearest supermarket is Consum at La Zenia, a five-minute drive away. The area is peppered with yellow-sand, blue-flag beaches. The nearest ones of note are La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Mil Palmeras, and Guardamar del Segura, which is backed by pine trees. The beaches of the Mar Menor (e.g. Santiago de la Ribera, Los Alcazares), a short drive south of Las Ramblas, are particularly good for children, as the waters are shallow and calm. They are also said to be two degrees warmer than those of the Mediterranean! For children, there is a water park (Aquapolis) in Torrevieja. Half-an-hour’s drive away, at Elche, there is Europe’s largest palm-tree forest, and a zoo, the ‘Rio Safari’.

Further afield, near Benidorm, is Terramitica (just over an hour’s drive). This is billed as Spain’s vacation answer to Universal Studios! Benidorm also hosts Mundomar, a marine and exotic animal park. There is a go-kart circuit around ten minutes’ drive away from Las Ramblas. The vast majority of the restaurants in the area are very child-friendly.Torrevieja is located at the southern end of the Communitat Valenciana and is famous for the two huge saltwater lagoons which surround it. These salt lakes are the second biggest in the world and certainly the largest in Europe. The lagoons have been designated as national parks and are an impressive sight, attracting more than 250 bird species including flamingoes.

Other places of interest within striking distance are Murcia (20 minutes), La Manga (35 minutes), Alicante (45 minutes), and Lorca (just over an hour). For the more adventurous, Granada, with its magnificent Moorish Alhambra palace, is just three hours distant. Skiing in the Sierra Nevada, Europe’s highest ski resort, is under four hours away! It is five minutes drive to the championship golf course of Villamartin and Campoamor. Villamartin Plaza boasts a wide variety of restaurants to suit most palates in a pleasant setting. Campoamor clubhouse is moments away from Las Ramblas, and with its far-reaching views of the surrounding area, is an extremely pleasant venue for alfresco lunches and dinners.
