Our rental unit is located just outside the Park's entrance, about a mile from the entrance. This is very convenient location considering Kona is over 100 miles away and 30 miles to Hilo. Guests can expect to enjoy peaceful, tranquil accommodations with spacious rooms and loads of comfort. Proprietors reside next door, so guests have ‘run of the house’ at night ~ but are there to greet you, orient you to the house and restaurants in the area. They will also prepare a most wonderful breakfast for you in the morning.
In addition, there is a computer room where guests can send and receive emails, or upload their pictures. Situated in the garden area, is a very relaxing Jacuzzi ~ wonderful on a cool night or after a long hike in the Park. If staying for more than a couple of days, you will find the fully equipped kitchen for preparing your own evening meals a pleasant alternative to dining out.
The property is fenced and has an electronic gate for added protection and security. Plenty of free parking too! And there is still a bit of Hawaiian nostalgia from years gone by with the house being built in 1927 – owned by a former sugar plantation mill.
So if you looking for friendly and knowledgeable hosts, staying at The Aloha Junction Bed and Breakfast will delight your senses ~ and your pocketbook.
