| Our house is in a residential neighborhood, 6 blocks from the small
village of Barnstable. We are on a private road with no other houses in sight. It is 9/10 of a mile to the nearest beach. A house rental includes a beach pass good at 7 salt-water beaches in Barnstable plus some fresh-water ponds. You may choose from Atlantic beaches (lots of surf and warm water) or Bay beaches (sand dunes and small waves).
The first floor has a large living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, full bath and two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. On the second floor are two additional bedrooms, each with two twin beds. There is a second bath with a tiled shower.
The living room is comfortably furnished and has seven windows overlooking the woods.
The dining room has a large picture window. There is a charcoal grill, picnic table
and several lawn chairs in the large, private yard.
