Our modern two-bedroom flat in San Vicente de la Barquera is a one-minute walk from the town centre, and 5 minutes from the beaches. Ample on-street parking is available. The flat is suitable for up to 4 people, and features:
- One bedroom with double bed
- One with two singles
- Large sunny balcony with patio furniture
- TV & DVD player
- Central heating
- Fully equipped separate kitchen including washing machine, cooker, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric kettle
- Bathroom with bath/shower.
- All bedding and towels included.
- Cot (inc. bedding) and highchair available on request
- British owners living 200 metres away.

Prices and availability
The apartment is fully booked until 3 September 2005. We are currently taking bookings for autumn holidays and short breaks, and for spring and summer 2006.
3 - 10 September: 450 euros per week
10 September - 1 October 2005: 350 euros per week
1 - 31 October 2005: 225 euros per week
Minimum stay 2 nights
Final cleaning included in price for stays of 7 nights or more, otherwise 40 euros. 25% deposit on booking.

Local Area Details

San Vicente de la Barquera, on the north coast of Spain, is the ideal location for your holiday or weekend break. Its unique location in Oyambre National Park puts you next to pristine white sandy beaches, a wide network of walking routes along rugged cliffs or rolling countryside, and the Picos de Europa mountain range. The ancient Cantabrian town has a busy fishing harbour, historic buildings and more than 50 restaurants renowned for their seafood gastronomy.

The area lends itself perfectly to a laid-back beach holiday, an active holiday or a combination of the two. White-water canoeing, rafting, hiking, mountain climbing and caving are just some of the activities available in the mountains, a 25-minute drive away. The local beaches are very popular with surfers, while the Santa Marina Golf Course, designed by Seve Ballesteros, is just outside of town. Other activities available locally include horse riding, fishing, hunting, windsurfing, scuba diving and sailing. The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao is less than two hours' drive away, and is well worth a detour or day trip.
Santander's ferry port and airport (served by Ryanair from Stansted and Frankfurt) are 40 minutes away by car.
