Situated in one of Cornwall's most interesting and centrally located areas Silverstream is idealfor those seeking the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, at the same time is perfectly located for the traditional tourist, being midway between north and south coasts and under an hours drive to Lands End or even Exeter. Even for the more active guests there is an abundance of Great Golf Courses, fishing of all types, plus many other sports and visitor attractions including the fabulous "Eden Project" many within an easy drive of Silverstream.

In common with so many of our guests your Silverstream experience will, we hope, leave you eager to return to this magical part of Cornwall.

You will be amazed by the magnificent countryside, the majestic beauty and remoteness of Bodmin Moor and the rugged grandeur of the beautiful North Cornwall coastline with its sandy coves, pretty little fishing villages and wide and wild surfing beaches. Indeed you will see why so many of Britain's famous writers, artists, sculptors and potters have found their "inspirations" in the beautiful county of Cornwall. Silverstream is pleased to over holidays of a week or more together with the increasingly popular Long Week End and Mid Week breaks outside the peak season.

Horseshoe a charming old world detached cottage is set in its own grounds with a large driveway to the front and a back garden leading down to the river Camel. It is fully carpeted and centrally heated with all the rooms situated at ground floor level.

The large light and airy Lounge diner accommodates six and has exposed beams featuring a lovely Cornish stone fireplace, burning logs or coal. The lounge has a tree seater and two seater settee and matching lounge chair. It is equipped with a satellite colour TV & video recorder and Hi Fi Player.

The dinning area overlooks the flowing River Camel and the beautiful 14th Century Helland Bridge and has a French windows open onto a secluded patio equipped with a patio table and four chairs and surrounded by a small rose and herb garden.

The modern fully equipped kitchen also enjoys river views and is equipped with a full sized electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and ample cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.

The bathroom has a full sized bath with overhead electric shower and wash hand basin with hot and cold running water. There is a seperate toilet conveniently located in a small hall between the two bedrooms.

The main bedroom has river views and contains an antique, curtain draped, king sized 4 Poster Bed, ample wardrobes and cupboards and its own wash hand basin with hot and cold running water.

The second Bedroom which is accessed through the main bedroom contains two metre wide pine single beds, wardrobes, airing cupboard and a wash hand basin with hot and cold running water.

The National Marine Museum has recently opened on the sea front in Falmouth and provides an interesting visit for all with an interest in the sea and boats.

Riding and pony trekking at St.Breward, Nanstallion & St.Kew.
A Day sail or flight to the Isles of Scilly from Penzance or Nequay.

Outdoor Tennis in Bodmin and Camelford.
Squash courts at Bodmin and St.Miner.

Sea & Game Fishing from beach or boat.
