Ca´n Serol Petit is a 1 bedroom (plus double sofa bed, and a single bed or a cot are also available on request) old stone semi-detached cottage, totally reformed using traditional materials, such as old terracotta floor tiles and old pine beams, maintaining its warm rustic atmosphere.
It sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and has its own stone patio, scented by lavender, jasmin and a magnolia tree, with an al-fresco dining area.
The house is tastefully furnished and fully equipped, including Satellite TV, a fireplace and central heating throughout.
Local Area DetailsThe cottage is situated within walking distance of the historic villages of Sóller, Fornalutx and Biniaraix. It sits in the foothills of the highest mountains of the Tramuntana Range (ideal for biking and walking holidays), within the sunny valley of Sóller and its orange groves, just 5 minutes drive (15 minute walk) to the centre, with its shops, historic food market, many restaurants and sunny terraces.
The Port of Sóller (10 min.) offers one of the few large sand beaches in the north of the island. Also, a short drive away are some of the islands best kept secrets: the exclusive village of Deia, the monastery of Lluch, the beach of La Calobra, the mountain lakes of Cuber and Gorg Blau, and the spectacular National Park of the Tramuntana mountain range.
Golfers will already know that Mallorca is one of the most popular destinations for year round golfing holidays, due to its pleasant weather and excellent infrastructures: some 18 golf courses are scattered round the island. The closest one to Can Serol Petit is Son Termens, a 20 minute drive away, it takes non members (Par: 72 ; 5.572 m ; 18 Holes ; Green Fee: approx. 60 €).
The owners of Can Serol Petit, a friendly young English-Spanish family with three kids, live next door in the big "finca" attached to the cottage. They welcome you on arrival and are also on hand during your stay.
