This appartment is situated close to the beach, resturants and main square. The decor is typical French with large open aspects to the street and a concourse with shops and resturants that is very popular with both the locals and tourists.
It comes fully furnished and features an open fireplace. A 'femme de manage'looks after the cleaning and will wash and cook if required for a reasonable payment.

Local Area DetailsEssaouira, on the south west coast of Morocco is a former Portugese town that was developed by the French. It does not have the hassel that you find in places like Marrakech or Casablanca rather it has an international reputation for being 'avant garde' dating back to the '60's when the likes of Jimmi Hendricks, Cat Stevens, Frank Zappa and the likes made Essaouira very fashionable for the 'hippy genre'.
Now it is known for its artistic flavour and its calm relaxing atmosphere. The beach is hard packed sand and slopes very gradually. Water sports are mainly Kite and Wind Surfing (power craft are discouraged).
Essaouira has many resturants with a few bars selling alcohol. The fishing port is active and as you would expect the local resturants sell excellent fish dinners.
About 175kms from Marrakech and about the same distance from Agadir, Essaouira is fast becoming a favourite attraction for visitors. In the high summer when the heat becomes oppressive inland, Essaouira always has a cool breeze coming in from the Atlantic.
