A charming detached cottage furnished and equipped for up to 5 people, in a quiet rural setting, but close to many beaches and small towns.

Consisting of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed and bunk bed, both bedrooms have ample storage. Downstairs is one large room with open working fireplace, 2 sofas, hi-fi, TV (with UK channels BBC and ITV )and DVD. There is a corner kitchen with fridge, electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine.

Outside, there is a garden with lawn and patio, patio furniture and a barbecue. There is ample parking for two cars at the front of the house.

The cottage is located in Southern Brittany in the department of Morbihan near the town of La Roche Bernard. It is less than 3 hours drive from St Malo and is only 6 miles/10 kilometres from the nearest beach. The major resort of La Baule is only twenty minutes away, while the major cities of Vannes and Rennes are about 30 minutes drive away.

The area is full of safe bathing beaches and watersports of all types abound. If you are a golfer the course at La Bretesche is only ten miles away.

Penestin-sur-Mer is surrouded by the ocean and offers sea lovers its 25 kilometres of coast. At Penestin and in the surrounding districts there are many interesting outings.

Here are some sites not to be missed
-The Mine Dor (Gold Mine) Cliff
is a remarkable site the length of which is dominated by 2 kilometres of sandstone and clay cliffs with their warm tones.
-The beach of Poudrantais a pretty bay with its yachts at anchor- sailing school .
-The harbour of Tréhiguier - this is Penestin’s little fishing harbour. This place is very full of life .
-The headland of Point de Bile. The cliffs of Point de Bile are much lower than those of the Mine D’Or, also possess those same warm colours. A whole natural heritage is to be discovered:
-The dunes of Ménard
-The marshes of Bronzais
