Pittenweem itself, is a real hot spot for arts, crafts and antiques. It is on the most beautiful part of the Fife Coastal Path and Millenium Cycle Way.

There are award winning sandy beaches, water sports, and many holiday activities in the area.

This area is superb for golfers as there are many famous golf courses around St Andrews (the home of Golf) including challenging golf courses at Kingsbarns, Elie and Crail, and then there is the Old Course Course itself!

We would recommend exploring St Andrews Castle, The British Golf Museum, the Cathedral, at St Andrews, The Scottish Fisheries Museum at Anstruther, The Crail Heritage Museum, The Fife Folk Museum, The Secret Bunker, Falkland Palace, Kellie Castle and Gardens, The Isle of May Bird Sanctuary, The Scottish Deer Centre, and Crail Pottery.

Visit across the Forth Bridges to see a range of sights such as Edinburgh Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Dynamic Earth and the Royal Yacht Britannia, or just to spend time at the Edinburgh International Festival and explore the shops around Princes Street.
