There is a beautiful harbour area with excellent restaraunts, bars and cafes. There are local boat trips which offer cruises around the Island as well as barbacues and refreshments on board.
Crete offers fantastic all year round weather and also offers one of the healthiest diets in Europe. The local tavernas offer traditional local dishes and home made wine. The Island is steeped in history with ancient ruins and sites scattered all over the Island. The Crete people are friendly, welcoming and hospitable.
Local activities include water sking, para gliding, swimming, diving, snorkling, walking and tennis to name but a few.
