Property Details
The accommodation is part of a newly renovated, 18th century stone town house. The house is five minutes walk from the main street, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and market.
Accommodation: L-shaped bedroom (double bed and single bed), with ensuite bathroom. The sitting room and kitchenette has many of the original features. The flat is equipped with microwave, hotplate, electric kettle, coffee maker, fridge, sound system, iron, crockery/utensils, fans, heaters and linen is supplied. Sorry, we do not have facilities for infants less than 2 years old. There is a sofa bed in the sitting room, which could accommodate 2 more children (or adults). We have a "No Smoking" policy indoors. The apartment area is just over 44 square metres.
Local Area DetailsSaint Chinian is a small country town situated in a famous wine-growing valley in the foothills of the Black Mountains (27 kms west of Beziers). It is near the west coast of the Mediterranean sea - 30 mins. drive. Beautiful scenery and many historic sites nearby. Great walking and local cycling countryside, with clear, safe local rivers for swimming. An outdoor municipal swimming pool is open in the summer.
Wine-growing area - excellent wines for less than £1 per bottle from the local wine cellar "Cave" which has won the Paris Gold Award for best wines for 2 years running.
Easily accessible, travel to Airports: Carcassone, Perpignan, Montpellier, Beziers or Toulouse. Train services (TGV) run from Paris - 3.5 hrs duration.
