Casa Ojo Dorado is a beautiful, spacious, exquisitely furnished Village House. Although 400 years old it has been fully modernised and is very well equipped. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, lounge with open fireplace, two terraces with beautiful views and an andalucian patio. The property provides video, stereo, washing machine, iron and ironing board, microwave oven and hairdryer. There is a large selection of books, videos and games. The outside areas have tables, chairs and sunloungers. Cots and high chairs can be made available. The house is very comfortable and is in a very convenient location.

Local Area Details

Comares is in the Axarquia region and occupies a stunning hilltop position with magnificent views over the surrounding countryside and down to the coast. The area is especially beautiful, a mixture of valleys and dramatic soaring Mountains with the blue waters of the Med in the background. The Village of Comares is typically Spanish with a population of approx 2000 with local shops, bars, restaurants and good local services. Comares is a very popular daytrip for people holidaying nearby. The nearest town of Velez Malaga is 20 minutes drive away. The beaches of Torre del mar are 30 minutes drive away. Comares is a popular location for hiking, horseriding, climbing and artistic holidays. There are many colourful local fesitvals. It is easy to visit Granada, Ronda, Seville and Cordoba. The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada are approx 1 hour away. The popular seaside resort of Nerja is just 40 minutes drive away. The Village has a swimming pool which is open from May to October. There is a Golf Course within a half hour drive.
