Casalinda (www.casalinda.be) is a newly-built (2003) villa on a hillside plot with lovely views over the Val d'Aro. It has 4 double bedrooms (plus cot), 3 bathrooms, living/dining room, large, well-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, granite work surfaces), barbecue area, terraces, garden and a large garage (with washing machine, sink and table tennis table). The pool area is gated, and there is a good supply of books, games, pool toys and videos in the house. Bed linen, towels, kitchen towels and sunbeds, plus final clean, are included in the price and the pool is fully maintained. A change of linen is provided each Saturday. Extra cleaning can be arranged in advance.
Local Area DetailsThere is golf, tennis, squash, horseriding, go-karting, water parks and scenic cycling and walking paths nearby. The beaches are 4 kms away, and there is an excellent choice of restaurants, shops and local markets within a short distance. Barcelona is an hour's drive away, as is Figueres (Dali museum), La Bisbal (pottery), Ampuria Brava (Roman and Greek ruins) and many other places of interest.
